Your site, plus the tools that run your business.
Your build covers the website. The tools that run the day-to-day, ordering for a takeaway, bookings for a salon or clinic, stock for a car dealer, ticketing for an event, come from a system you choose. We connect the one you already use to your site, or help you choose one, so customers book and order on your own site and brand. The big difference: the customer is yours, not a marketplace's.
How it works
Your system, connected to your site.
- You start with a free audit at /audit. It scores your current site and shows what is worth building. Tell us what you use for bookings, orders, tickets or stock today, if anything.
- Already have a system? We check what it supports: an embed, an API, its own booking or ordering page on your web address. That decides how it joins your site.
- Need one? We help you choose. We set what you need against the checklist below, compare a short list, and you pick. We do not sell any of them.
- We connect it and keep it working. Book and Order buttons where they belong, the flow matched to your brand where the system allows, tested end to end, and looked after with the rest of your site.
Four kinds of system
The tools that run on your own site.
Each one means not depending on a marketplace that takes a cut of every transaction AND owns your customer. Run it on your own site instead and the customer stays yours. Click through for what to look for, and how we connect it.
- 01
Online ordering
Restaurants · takeaways · cafés
Take orders on your own site, under your own brand, through the ordering system you choose, so the customer is yours, not Just Eat's.
Instead of: Just Eat / Deliveroo / Uber Eats (20–30% AND they own your customer)
What to look for, and how it connects → - 02
Appointment bookings
Salons · clinics · service businesses
Bookings on your own site, under your own brand, through the booking system you already use or one we help you choose. Your customer list stays yours.
Instead of: Fresha / Booksy (20–30% AND they own your customer, then market your rivals to them)
What to look for, and how it connects → - 03
Vehicle / inventory stock
Car dealers · garages · traders
Your stock, fed from the stock system you use and shown on your own site, not only on a portal.
Instead of: AutoTrader-only visibility (£300–1,500/month for the dealer packages)
What to look for, and how it connects → - 04
Event ticketing
Events · clubs · classes · workshops
Sell tickets on your own site, under your own brand, through the ticketing system you choose. Your attendee list stays yours.
Instead of: Eventbrite / DICE (commission AND they own your attendee list)

The checklist
What to look for in any of them.
- Your address and your brand. An embed for your own pages, or the system's booking or ordering page on your own web address, so customers do not leave you for a marketplace listing.
- Payments straight to your account. You are the merchant, and the money settles to your bank, not into a platform's holding account. No 7-day "platform settlement", no rolling reserve.
- Your data, exportable. Your customer list and your booking or order history, as a CSV, any time. If you ever change system, you take it with you.
- Pricing you can see. Check what the system charges at your volume before you sign, and avoid one that takes commission on customers you brought in yourself.
- A way in for us. An embed, an API or webhooks, so the system can join the rest of your setup: your CRM, your reminder texts and review requests.
- The UK GDPR basics. Where your customers' data is held, a data processing agreement you can sign, and who at the supplier can see it.
How it joins your site
Three ways in, chosen by what the system supports.
In every case the customer starts on your site, under your brand. Which way we connect it depends on what your system offers, and we will tell you the trade-off before we start.
- 1 An embed. The system gives us a widget or a snippet of code, and we place it on your pages, matched to your brand as far as it allows. The customer never leaves your site. Usually the right pattern for interactive things like a booking calendar or a ticket checkout.
- 2 An API or a feed. Your site fetches the data, a menu or your stock, say, and shows it as real pages Google can read. The best pattern for search, where the system offers it.
- 3 A link. Your Book and Order buttons open the system's own page, ideally on your own web address. It works with almost any system; the trade-off is that the customer leaves your site for that step.
Data ownership, non-negotiable
Your customer list is yours. Your reviews are yours. Your transactions are yours.
- Customers belong to you, not a marketplace. Every name, email, phone number and order history lives in your own account, fully exportable as CSV any time. If you ever leave, you take them with you.
- Reviews build your own reputation. Not a marketplace's, which can de-platform you or market your rivals to your customers. The SEO benefit goes to you, not Just Eat.
- Payments settle to your account. No marketplace ever holds your money.
- No marketplace cut on your own customers. Fresha, Booksy and Just Eat take 20-30% of every transaction AND own the customer. On your own site, the customer is yours.
- You are not locked in. Leave us any time, and your system stays yours, under your own account with its supplier. Your website stays yours too.
Who does what
We build the site and connect the system. You own the customer.
We build and look after your website, and the connection between your site and your system, with one accountable point of contact for both.
The system's supplier provides the system itself, under its own terms and its own pricing, which you see before you sign. We do not sell booking, ordering, ticketing or stock systems.
The way in is a free audit at /audit: it scores your current site and shows what is worth building, then we quote your build and website management. If you want your system connected now, say so and we will scope it into the quote. If you want the website first and the system later, that works too; we connect it whenever you are ready.
Questions people actually ask
FAQ.
Do I need a booking or ordering system to get a VerySEOly site?
No. Your build covers the website, and it stands on its own as a complete done-for-you site. Plenty of businesses run with a phone number and an enquiry form, and add online bookings or ordering later, or never. If you add one later, we connect it then. Start with a free audit at /audit to see what you actually need.
Do you sell a booking or ordering system?
No. We build and look after websites. We connect the booking, ordering, ticketing or stock system you already use, or help you choose one, and the system's supplier provides it under its own terms and pricing.
Which system should I use?
The one that fits how you work, at a cost that makes sense at your volume. We do not push a particular system. We look at what you need, check a short list against the points on this page, and you choose.
What does connecting it cost?
It is part of the quote for your build and website management, scoped to what your system supports. There are no off-the-shelf prices: start with a free audit at /audit and we will scope it. The system itself is paid to its supplier, on that supplier's terms.
Can I keep using Fresha, Booksy or Just Eat instead?
Yes, and a lot of people do, especially when they are starting out. Your site can link to the booking or ordering page you already use, and we will wire the buttons. But those platforms take 20-30% of every transaction AND own the customer, your customer list is theirs, and they will market your rivals to the people you brought them. Taking bookings and orders on your own site keeps the customer yours.
How does the connection actually work?
One of three ways, depending on what the system supports: an embed (the system gives us a widget or a snippet of code that we place on your pages), an API (your site fetches the data, such as a menu or your stock, and shows it as real pages Google can read), or a link (your buttons open the system's own booking or ordering page, ideally on your own web address). If any of those terms are new, the glossary has plain-English definitions.
What happens if I change system, or leave?
Your customer data lives in the system you choose, which is why a proper export is on the checklist. If you change system, we connect the new one. If you leave us, your site and domain are yours, as the refund policy sets out, and your booking or ordering system carries on under your own account with its supplier.
