Remote session
Let us look at it with you.
Some things are ten minutes on a shared screen and a week of emails otherwise. This page is for connecting while you are on the phone with us. Our own server, you watch everything, nothing stays installed.
Before you connect, one rule
We connect when you contacted us. If somebody rang you out of the blue claiming to be Microsoft, your host, your bank, or even us, and sent you here, hang up and do not connect. Nobody legitimate cold-calls about your computer or your website. If you are unsure, put the phone down and ring the number on our contact page.
While we are on the phone
Three steps, and we stay on the line.
It sounds technical and genuinely is not: one small download, two boxes to fill in, and we talk you through all of it.
-
Get the helper
On Windows, take this download. It is the standard open-source RustDesk tool with our details already filled in, so you can skip step two entirely.
The filename carries our server address, which is how it knows to connect to us and nobody else. Leave it as it is.
On a Mac, get it from rustdesk.com/download: machines from 2021 onwards want aarch64, older Intel Macs want x86-64 (Apple menu, then About This Mac, tells you which). Apple does not allow the pre-filled trick, which is why the Mac route keeps step two. No account is needed either way.
-
Point it at our server
Windows users who took the download above can skip this, it is already done. On a Mac, phone or tablet: in RustDesk open Settings, then Network (the three dots beside your ID). Put these two values in, then OK:
- ID server
remote.veryseoly.com- Key
YxfiRv7S+kiqXHsJNoMKvM4rU3yjnC3ryk9LROlpI68=
That key means the session can only run through our own server, in the EU, and nobody else's. If your screen looks different from what we are describing, say so; there is no wrong click here we cannot undo together.
-
Read us the ID on your screen
Tell us the ID RustDesk shows and the one-time password beneath it, then accept the connection. From that moment you see everything we do, and you can end it yourself at any time by closing RustDesk. When we are finished, close it: nothing keeps running and no access remains.
Who this is for
Clients and one-off callers, both.
On a plan with us? A screen-share is simply how your support hours get used when that is the fastest route. No separate invoice, no drama, just a quicker answer than a thread of emails.
Not a client? You can book a one-off session anyway. We agree a fixed price on the phone before we connect and it does not change with how long it takes. If you later go onto a plan, that session fee comes off your first month.
What we sort this way
Usually the fiddly ten minutes.
- A page, form or booking button that has stopped behaving
- Business email landing in spam, or refusing to set up on a new phone
- Your Google Business Profile: claiming it, fixing hours, sorting the map pin
- Payments and bookings settings you would rather not guess at
- Being shown how to update something yourself, once, properly
Your data, plainly
What we can see, and what we cannot.
During a session we see the screen you are showing us and work where you have allowed it, at watching speed, with you there throughout. We cannot reach the machine once the session closes, cannot connect without you accepting, and nothing is left installed behind us. The connection runs on infrastructure we own and operate in the EU rather than a third-party remote-control service, and how we handle what we see is in our privacy notice.
If it is not a website thing
We will point you to the right door.
We look after the web presence: sites, business email, bookings, payments, Google. If the problem is your business IT, the machines, the network, a security scare, that is our sibling practice Dacros. If it is a home or personal machine, that is JorTech, who are open day and night. Either way you get an honest answer rather than a shrug.
Not on the phone with us yet?
Start there. Tell us what is stuck and we will say honestly whether a session will fix it, what it will cost, or whether it is a job for somebody else. We answer monday to friday.
