How to request a new page

Scope rules for a new page - what is a content edit, what is included in your retainer, and what is a bespoke build.

Last updated 1 July 2026

A new page is a different beast to a content edit. New layout, new copy, often new images, sometimes new design components. Here is how that works under your monthly retainer.

What counts as a “new page”

If the URL is new, it is a new page. /services/website-audit did not exist before, now it does, that is a new page. Even a “thank you” page after a form submission is a new page.

Each new page typically takes 2 to 4 hours of design, copy, build, on-page SEO, and sitemap registration. That is the work being scoped.

What your retainer covers

Your build and monthly retainer are quoted to your business, so your scope is written for the footprint you actually run. There is no fixed package to fit yourself into. In practice a new page lands in one of three buckets.

In-scope as a content edit. Swapping one page for another inside your existing footprint, or refreshing a page you already have, is normal ongoing work. Your core pages (homepage, about, services, contact) and the handful of service or location pages agreed in your build sit here.

In-scope within your retainer. A steady trickle of new pages that fits the hours we agreed each month is covered. The more marketing footprint your site carries, multiple service lines, location networks, steady content output, the more headroom your retainer is built with, so most single-page requests land in-scope.

A bespoke add-on. Adding a large batch of pages at once, a programmatic set (for example 30 city by 5 service combination pages), or a full directory-style build sits outside the monthly rhythm and gets its own quote.

What normally counts as a straightforward page:

  • Service pages (for example /services/boiler-installation)
  • Location landing pages (for example /leeds)
  • Lead-magnet thank-you pages
  • A single blog post (the blog itself is one URL, /blog, and individual posts do not count toward your core footprint)

If you want customers booking and paying online, a TicketWave HQ Bookings page fits here too. Remember: with bookings and payments, you own the customer.

If you are not yet on a retainer and want to know where your site should go before committing to a build, start with the free audit at /audit. For a full plan, the £300 Marketing and Automation Deep-Dive at /marketing-automation-audit gives you a consultation, a written audit, and a fixed quote, and that £300 is credited against any build you go on to commission.

When a “new page” is really a new feature

If the new page includes a calculator, an interactive map, a multi-step form with conditional logic, a booking widget, a custom comparison table, a TicketWave HQ module embed, or anything that requires new design components or backend wiring, it is a feature build, not a page add. Those get a separate bespoke quote, whatever your retainer covers.

A quick word on billing

There is no lock-in. You can cancel any time, and you are covered by a 14-day refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Your build is a one-off, quoted to your business, and your ongoing work runs as website management from £49 a month, quoted to your business, and services may vary. A bespoke page add-on is quoted on its own and does not change your management plan. If you took the Marketing and Automation Deep-Dive first, its £300 is credited against your build.

VerySEOly is operated by TicketWave HQ Ltd (company 17143167).

How to request

Email me or use the contact form with: (1) the working title, (2) what the page should achieve (rank for X, capture leads for Y, brief partners on Z), and (3) any reference sites or sketches. I will come back within a working day with: in-scope yes or no, a draft outline, a target turnaround, and a quote if it is bespoke.
