Billing
How billing works
How the free audit, the paid deep-dive, and monthly website management fit together, when the first charge lands, and how to grab past invoices.

Plain English version of how the money side works. No surprises, no lock-in.
The value ladder
Everything starts with a free audit and only turns into a paid engagement when you are ready. There are three steps:
- Free audit. I look at your current site and marketing and write back with what I would change. There is no charge for this, and no obligation. Start it at /audit.
- Marketing and Automation Deep-Dive, £300. If you want the full picture, this is a paid consultation plus a written audit and a fixed quote for the work. The £300 is credited in full against any build you go ahead with, so if you commission the build it costs you nothing extra. Details at /marketing-automation-audit.
- Bespoke build, then website management from £49/month. From the deep-dive I quote you a build that fits your business, then look after it. Website management starts from £49 per month, quoted to your business, and services may vary. It may be a monthly managed service or one-off consulting, whichever suits the work. It is billed monthly, with no lock-in, and you can cancel any time.
There are no published self-serve package prices. Every quote is scoped to what your business actually needs.
When the first charge lands
The £300 deep-dive is paid up front, when you book it. After that, monthly website management does not start until your site is built and live. The first management charge lands on your go-live day: the moment your site goes up, Stripe takes the first payment, then it repeats every month from that date.
VAT
VerySEOly is operated by TicketWave HQ Ltd (company number 17143167), which is not VAT-registered. The price you see is the total you pay. There is no VAT added on top, and no VAT number, so the £300 deep-dive and your quoted monthly website management are the exact amounts that hit your card, with nothing added afterwards.
If we ever cross the VAT threshold and become VAT-registered, we will tell you before adding VAT, as set out in the terms.
Invoices
Every charge generates a Stripe invoice automatically. There are three ways to get to them:
- Email - Stripe emails the invoice PDF to your signup email on each billing date.
- Client portal - open veryseoly.com/portal, enter your email, and click the login link. Every invoice ever issued is listed and downloadable as a PDF.
- Annual summary - at year-end I email a single PDF summary covering all 12 months. Useful for the accountant.
Invoices include: your company name as registered, the line items, the total, and the Stripe payment reference. No VAT line appears, because we are not VAT-registered.
Refunds
The £300 deep-dive is refundable before I start the work: message me and I refund the full amount, no questions. Once the written audit is delivered, that work has been done. Remember that the £300 is credited against any build you go ahead with, so in practice it comes back to you as soon as you commission the work.
On monthly website management you can cancel any time and you stop being billed at the end of the paid month. There is no lock-in and no minimum term. The only catch is that there is no pro-rata refund for partial months.
What you actually pay
There is nothing hidden and no separate build charge to work out. You pay £300 once for the deep-dive, and that is credited back against the build. After go-live you pay your quoted monthly website management, from £49 per month, quoted to your business, and that is the total each month with no VAT on top. The build itself is folded into the quote I give you after the deep-dive, so you always see the full figure before you commit.
You own your bookings and payments. When a customer books or pays through your site, that is your customer and your money.
