How billing works

Plain English version of how the money side works. There are no self-serve plans and nothing to log into. Any billing question goes to hello@veryseoly.com.

How the work is priced

1. The Site Score audit. The automated audit at /audit carries no charge and no obligation.
2. Marketing and Automation Deep-Dive, £300 + VAT. A one-hour consultation, a detailed written audit and a fixed quote for the work. It is paid up front, and the £300 is credited in full against any build you go ahead with. Details at /marketing-automation-audit.
3. The build, quoted to your brief. A website built for your business, scoped in the quote that follows the deep-dive.
4. Website management, quoted to your business. Running the site after launch is quoted to your business, and services may vary.

The £300 + VAT deep-dive is the only published price. Everything else is quoted, and your quote sets out what you pay and when.

How you pay

New work is invoiced. The build and your website management are invoiced as set out in your quote. For a build I may ask for a deposit on acceptance, with the balance on completion, and invoices are payable within 14 days.

Existing arrangements are billed as agreed. If you have an existing arrangement with me, it carries on as agreed until you ask to change it or cancel. There is no card on file to keep current: VerySEOly does not take card payments through this site.

VAT

VerySEOly is operated by TicketWave HQ Ltd (company number 17143167), which is registered for VAT from 1 November 2026. From that date, VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%) is added on top of our prices, which are shown before VAT: the deep-dive is £300 + VAT, and anything I quote you has VAT added at the standard rate.

If we invoice you before our VAT number is issued, we will send you a VAT invoice for the VAT once it is. This is set out in section 8 of the terms.

Invoices and receipts

Invoices are emailed to your billing address. Need a copy of any invoice, or a summary of the year for your accountant? Email hello@veryseoly.com.

Invoices show your business name, the line items and the total. Once our VAT number is issued, our invoices are VAT invoices: they also show the VAT and our VAT number.

Refunds and cancelling

Refunds follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy, which covers the deep-dive, website management and one-off work alongside your statutory rights. Refunds go back to the original payment method. To cancel, see how to cancel; cancellation follows the Terms.

What you actually pay

Nothing is hidden. The £300 deep-dive is credited against your build, and you see the full quote for the build and for your website management before you commit. From 1 November 2026, VAT at the standard rate is added on top of the deep-dive and of every quote, as set out above.

You own your bookings and payments. When a customer books or pays through your site, that is your customer and your money.
