  1. Move to the audit-led model, retired the self-serve packages

    • Positioning update: VerySEOly is now a bespoke web, marketing, and automation partner. Every build and retainer is quoted to the business, so the old fixed self-serve packages have been retired
    • New value ladder: a free automated audit at /audit (the Free Site Score), then a paid £300 Marketing and Automation Deep-Dive at /marketing-automation-audit (a one-hour consultation, a detailed written audit, and a fixed quote, with the £300 credited against any build)
    • Website management from £49/month, quoted to your business, no lock-in, cancel any time, and direct support, not a call centre
    • All "pick a plan" and /start onboarding links now point at the free audit
  2. On deck

    Cyber Essentials + ICO registration

    • Cyber Essentials self-assessment package (IASME), baseline controls already meet most of the questionnaire; the badge itself is the deliverable
    • ICO registration in progress, once the data-protection fee is paid and the registration number is issued, it will be rendered on /credentials and the footer; no ICO number is claimed until one exists
    • Both will move /credentials from "claimed" to "badged", see the positioning evolution brief
  3. In progress

Wave E, content cluster + glossary + changelog + meta polish

    • Glossary expanded to cover every term the site uses on first mention; cross-linked from /credentials and term anchors throughout the site
    • This page, operational transparency, public roadmap, reverse-chronological
    • Meta polish sweep: per-page <title>/description audit, JSON-LD coverage, internal-link map
  4. Wave D ships, done-for-you online presence positioning

    • Positioning evolution: collapsed messaging to "your whole online setup, built by hand and run for you", one promise, one accountable point of contact, one simple ladder
    • Six new pages live: /jordan (founder story), /credentials (proof + receipts), /reviews (case studies), /partners (referral programme), /systems (how it is built), /managed-website-service (the run-it-for-you deep-dive)
    • Proper help system shipped, /audit grew a 3-tab interface, blog categories now have their own landing pages
  5. Wave C ships, illustration system + Cal.com + welcome cron

    • 15 custom SVG illustrations added across the blog (no stock photography, ever)
    • Walkthrough component live on /start and /portal, first-run guidance instead of a wall of text
    • Cal.com integration replaces the old "email us to book" flow
    • Welcome-sequence email cron now fires on Stripe checkout completion; Capsule CRM record created in the same transaction
    • /pricing gained a sticky CTA on scroll, and an annual prepay option was added alongside the monthly plans in use at the time (pricing has since moved to the audit-led model, see 1 July 2026)
  6. Wave B ships (PR #80), Pagefind search + end-to-end audit

    • Pagefind site search shipped, fully static, no third-party search dependency
    • Walkthrough component scaffolded (Wave C builds on it)
    • 4 new blog SVG illustrations
    • Business audits now execute end-to-end (input → score → recommendations → email)
  7. Wave A ships (PR #79), Bing, JSON-LD, Stripe portal, AI markers

    • Bing meta verification added, pricing JSON-LD schema corrected
    • Footer reverted to v1 layout after feedback; Stripe Customer Portal wired into /portal
    • AI-gen marker sweep, every page that uses AI-assisted copy now declares it inline
  8. Rebuild ships (PR #78), simpler pricing, AIDA spine

    • Pricing at the time was collapsed from 5 muddled tiers to a simpler set of self-serve plans (since retired in favour of the audit-led model, see 1 July 2026)
    • About page rebuilt around an AIDA spine (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action)
    • Homepage redesigned to follow the same AIDA flow
    • Onboarding form shipped, /audit got the first proper upgrade
    • /help index page and pricing visual hierarchy fix
